In modern times it can pay dividends for companies to work smarter rather than harder, whatever their products or services. Unfortunately, the owners of many SMEs, that is small to medium size businesses, can find them themselves bogged down in all the legislation that they need to meet under current laws on issues such as Health and Safety, Employment Law, training and so forth which are not their area of expertise. Making sure your company complies is time consuming and takes attention away from what the business really needs to do, which is making a profit.
